Lisa is responsible for Wellington UniVentures’ psychology, social sciences and education portfolios. As Senior Impact Manager, Lisa will be working with researchers in these fields to support commercialisation paths and undertake strategic business development work for the internal business.
Gaining a BA Hons in Education, Lisa became a teacher. Working with students and advocating for social change, Lisa went on to complete a Graduate Diploma in Addiction, Alcohol and Drug Studies as well as a Masters in Health and Social Services, becoming an Addiction Practitioner (DAPAANZ). Taking roles in Clinical Leadership, managing strategy, change and service design, Lisa previously worked for Wellington Addictions and the Ministry of Social Development, before taking on her PhD in Health Sciences and Social Sciences.
In 2021, Lisa became a Certified KiVa trainer.
In her spare time, Lisa enjoys welding (TIG, MIG and ARC) and paddock bashing Nissans (roll cage only of course)!
