Today we start an exciting new phase of our history as we launch Wellington UniVentures—formerly known as Viclink—a re-brand which includes a change of trading name and a stunning new visual identity.
Our new name and visual identity have been developed after extensive consultation with our stakeholders and connect us more closely to Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington, clearly highlighting our Wellington location.
With stakeholders located locally, nationally and internationally across a very broad range of industries, this clarity is critical to our continued growth and to ensure we successfully deliver on our mission to connect our University’s world-leading research and scholarship to our local and global communities.
Wellington UniVentures has been working on a carefully considered re-brand for some time now, having engaged in focused research with our key stakeholders and staff in the middle of 2019. This research indicated that our association with both the University and Wellington are critical to our future success but were not well reflected in the name Viclink.
Our new website gives a great overview of the breadth of work that Wellington UniVentures undertakes and the impact we deliver for our University and communities. As the Viclink era draws to a close, we reflect on our past success and are energised for our future endeavours as we work hard to deliver on our vision of being the acknowledged leader in successfully taking Wellington’s knowledge to the world.
